Trekked back over to Tucson VA yesterday, with another ol Fart buddy (Leo) who happened to be heading over there for an appointment of his own...froze our azzes off on the trip over...whadahell is with all us ol' Farts down here...and our old beater vehicles with no damned working heaters in them!??!?
Anyway, I had to go back and find out "what" the CT Scan revealed...and...to try and find out more about the "I'm Deceased" thingie...appears that I couldn't get "brought up" on the computer at the clinic I am assigned to over there now...uh, it now reports me as "dead"...so, "no info available" as to the CT Scan,... nor am I able to refill any of my scrips...nor,..even.make an appointment with my Doc !...whadafck?...
I went back over to CBOC (the admin office I had been to on Tuesday) and they pulled things up...and sure enough,...the "news of my demise" was spreading throughout the computer network like some sort of virus...and shutting me out...AArgh!
Told me to give them a few more days, and then check back in (in person they insist)...so...looks like I go and make the 3 hour (each way) ride to Tucson again on Monday or Tuesday...got all weekend to try and get the heater in my ol' truck to once again work...fix the faulty brake lites and turn signals, and install some kinda "back window" into the thing (never actually "worried" about window before...it's just an old Desert Rat truck, usually only driven off road down here..don't usually "go fast 'nuff" to be bothered by breeze on neck... don't drive for any length at highway speeds...and usually, don't have to contend with temps down in the low 40's-50's like it is here right now))... damned if I want to "drag any friends" along on this mission of discomfort and frustration....
The dizziness is slowly (very slowly) subsiding...I am learning to live/deal with it...but it still causes me quite a bit of anxiety...even "moreso" with all this "being dead" horsesht now keeping me from my Doc and his "input"...doesn't "compute well" with my PTSD befuddled mind at all...
I.have an "herbalist" friend that I have been talking with and seems to agree with me that the blood thinners , and the med (Omeprazole) I'm on for acid reflux...just might be the combined culprits to the "falling down" problems I've been having these past many months. I've stopped that med, and am now ingesting Calsium Citrate to counter act the damage that the reflux drug was probably doing to my system (it depletes your body of Calsium...which is needed by your body for bone strength...and also to stop "spurs" on spine and in your inner ear from forming)...the inner ear spurs are what often causes egualibrium/dizziness in ol' Farts...so my herbalist friend tells me...sounds "informed" to me...so, since I am a "man of control" with no alternative at this juncture...I am trying to "doctor" myself back to equalibrium .
If, my "financial situation" is indeed at a loss here, due to being dead...and I loose my VA/Social Security for however long it will take (been told could take up to a year) to straighten out....I have simply got to get "hard-core" back to work...no more of this "diddle around" or, "play" when I feel up to it...I have got to take charge, come hell, or high water...and get producing...sellable art once again...dizziness and ill-health be damned!...gotta "man up" and geterdone!
Tony, I'll give you a call in a couple of days!...gotta buy a phone, dude...hee hee...(remember, I threw the old one away when I "retired")...hee hee...
Ya'll try and have a Great Day!...got it?

That's pretty scary - it could take a YEAR??? Wow, I hope they get it settled soon, soon, soon. That's really not fair.
If you were dead, you wouldn't have any worries, and it sounds like you're pretty worried about being dead. :(
Gosh Michael..government crap sucks, don't it? Have never had a problem with Social Security but know a couple who have. One was an overpayment that they wanted back immediately..to hell with whether that person had anything to live off of or not! Anyway, hope everything works out for you and things get better. Wishing you a speedy recovery and better times in the near future. Linda
